what details are collected?
We only request information from you on our quotation and booking form (name, address, phone number) This is the bare minimum amount of details required for us to be at your service. At your discretion, you may also provide demographic information (such as gender or age) about yourself. This is not required but helps our consultants a great deal in finding a suitable vehicle for you (ie. not sending out information about old, low budget backpacker vehicles to someone who is clearly in a different stage of life, or sending irrelevant information to a person who is too young to hire a vehicle).

how long will the details be stored and where?
The quotation and booking forms as well as email correspondence is, in encrypted format, stored for 2 years on the Exchange-mail server of a large, professional external hosting organisation. For us to do our work properly, we must be able to view and have access to, the entire email-thread from start to finish. Some customers book a vehicle long in advance, hence the aforementioned period. Only Totally4wdCampers staff has access to information that you have sent us via email or online form.

what are they used for?
The few details we request from you on the quotation form are required to prepare and send you a tailored proposal. The details on the booking form will be used to book your vehicle into the rental company’s reservation system. They will later show on your rental contract. Other personal details such as date of birth and driver’s license number are not required by us, but can be disclosed later to the rental company when you collect the vehicle, or during the pre-check in procedure.

confidentiality
We will not sell or send on your details to any third parties for marketing or other purposes, with exception of the rental company with which your vehicle is booked. Totally4wdCampers treat all email correspondence including quotations sent to you (our customer) as confidential. Therefore, we expect the same from you and request that you will not share our emailed quotations or parts thereof, with any third parties.
