Jacob en Petra Harders, 4wd Hilux daktent, Australie Juli 2016
Hi Ester en Rene,
We have returned home and back to work. Our trip to Australia in June already seems like a distant yet great memory. Below some feedback on the 4wd and our trip: We loved the Hilux and folding out the roof tent was easy. The humidity in Darwin was rather high when we arrived, so we were pleased that we did not have to sleep inside a camper like many other people, but in our roof tent!
Some of the highlights of our trip were the JimJim falls in the Northern Territory (Kakadu National Park) and the Yellow Water cruise. Everything along the entire Gibb River Road was equally impressive to be honest. We have also camped a couple of nights in the Bungle Bungles, we loved it there also. Just before we had to return the vehicle we got a chip in our window, courtesy of a passing road train. Luckily we took out insurance so that was covered.
During our holiday, we met with three other travellers, all driving a similar Toyota 4wd, and they all booked through TotallyCampers! 🙂
We have had a super-trip and have decided to come back to Australia in the near future!Jacob and Petra Harders
