The Totally4wd Campers 4wd camper supplier Apollo is the second largest rental company in Australia and New Zealand, however, for 4×4 vehicles it is the largest in the country.  Established in 1985 as a family business, it has grown enormously and has recently been listed on the stock exchange as well.      Still majority-owned by the same family who started the business in the eighties, Apollo can still be regarded as a family-business.
Apollo rents 4 types of 4wd campers in Australia: the Apollo Trailfinder (Toyota Landcruiser with poptop roof) and the Apollo 4wd Adventure camper (Toyota Hilux with poptop roof),  the Apollo Overlander (Toyota Landcruiser with rooftent and annex tent) as well as the Apollo X-terrain (Mercedes 4×4 with 2 roof tents).

In Australia Totally Campers also offer 4×4 campers from the Apollo budget brand Cheapa Campa.    These slightly older Apollo vehicles (resp 3-6 yrs and 6+ yrs) are a bit more pre-loved than the Apollos but therefore better affordable for the more budget-minded traveler!

The Apollo 4wd rental vehicles that you book through TotallyCampers in Australia, can be collected from the cities Brisbane, Cairns, Adelaide, Darwin, Broome, Alice Springs and Perth.  Not from Melbourne or Sydney unfortunately.
